Having been a staunch Buddhist during my younger years, it is almost inevitable that I get asked quite frequently 'So what is the difference between Christianity and other religions?'. The answer was always at the back of my head, that Christiniaty wasn't so much a religion but more of a relationship with God.
Today, I saw these words on a T-shirt that brought fresh revelation, clarity and terseness to that thought:
RELIGION is HUMANS trying to work their way to God. CHRISTIANITY is GOD coming to men and women through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Couldn't have put it better myself.
